Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Paediatric Rehabilitation Therapist role based in London. The therapist will provide assessment and treatment for children with a range of physical, developmental, and neurological needs, using evidence-based interventions to support functional progress. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized rehabilitation plans, delivering therapy sessions, and monitoring outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and adapt strategies in home, school, and community settings. The therapist will also maintain accurate clinical documentation, contribute to service development, and participate in regular professional supervision and training.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification and registration in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, or another relevant rehabilitation discipline, with paediatric experience.
• Strong skills in paediatric assessment, goal setting, and treatment planning, using evidence-based rehabilitation approaches.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals.
• Competence in maintaining clear clinical records, managing caseloads, and prioritizing work to meet service and client needs.
• Experience delivering therapy in community or home settings and adapting interventions to school and family environments.
• Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practice and safeguarding, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant guidelines and legislation.
• Ongoing engagement in professional development; additional training in neurorehabilitation, developmental disorders, or complex needs is an advantage.
