We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join a specialist manufacturer of advanced patient lifting and transfer systems, supporting customers in their homes across the UK.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of patient lifting systems in customers’ homes throughout the UK. You will manage your own diary and workload in the field, supported by an experienced technical and service team.
Responsibilities
- Electrical, electronic and mechanical fault-finding
- Planned preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repair
- Repair and replacement of motors, actuators, batteries, controls, sensors and mechanical components
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Safety inspections, functional testing and compliance checks
- Completing accurate service and maintenance records
- Providing a professional, considerate service to customers, carers and families
Qualifications
Hands-on experience servicing, repairing or maintaining electromechanical equipment and be confident using diagnostic tools to identify faults.
