The focus is on strengthening supplier strategy, cost control, and supply continuity while supporting scale, margin protection, and operational resilience.
Operating at a senior level across procurement, operations, and finance, the role is accountable for shaping sourcing strategy, improving supply chain performance, and ensuring that procurement decisions are commercially sound, well governed, and aligned with wider business priorities. This role is remote, with flexibility on location within the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Own the procurement and supply chain agenda across suppliers, contract manufacturers, logistics partners, and distribution channels, ensuring cost, quality, and continuity objectives are consistently met.
- Develop and implement sourcing and supplier strategies that balance cost efficiency, supply security, quality standards, and long term commercial value.
- Lead supplier negotiation, contracting, and performance management, ensuring clear accountability, commercial discipline, and risk mitigation.
- Establish robust procurement processes and controls, including spend visibility, approval frameworks, and contract governance.
- Strengthen demand planning and supply forecasting in partnership with commercial and operations teams, improving accuracy and reducing volatility.
- Identify and deliver cost improvement opportunities through strategic sourcing, specification review, supplier consolidation, and process improvement.
- Oversee inventory strategy, working capital optimisation, and supply chain efficiency to support growth without unnecessary risk or cost.
- Manage supply chain risk, including supplier dependency, capacity constraints, and regulatory or compliance considerations.
- Build strong cross functional alignment with finance, commercial, quality, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure joined up decision making.
- Senior procurement or supply chain professional with experience operating across international, multi-site environments.
- Relevant degree in supply chain management, procurement, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
- Background within regulated, product led sectors such as aesthetics, medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
- Demonstrated ability to introduce structure, control, and commercial discipline into evolving or decentralised supply chains.
- Strong commercial judgement across supplier economics, cost drivers, contract structures, and risk management.
- Proven capability to influence senior stakeholders and negotiate effectively with external partners.
- Comfort operating at both strategic and operational level, combining hands on execution with longer term capability building.
