This role involves working on equipment across recycling, manufacturing and secure processing environments, where equipment uptime directly impacts production and operational continuity. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and take ownership through to resolution
- Carry out planned servicing, inspections and repairs to maintain equipment performance
- Install and commission new machines on customer sites to required standards
- Respond to breakdowns where equipment failure is impacting production or operations
- Work directly with site teams to resolve issues and maintain operational continuity
- Prepare machines and components for installation, refurbishment or dispatch
- Support workshop based rebuild and repair activity within the service centre
- Contribute to the setup and organisation of a growing regional engineering function

- Strong mechanical fault finding with working electrical knowledge
- Able to diagnose issues under pressure and follow problems through to completion
- Capable of working independently and managing your own workload

- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
