Home Needs Express is seeking an organised and experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement and supply of stock for our busy Nisa Local convenience store. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier management, stock purchasing, cost control, inventory planning, and ensuring products are available to meet customer demand while maximising profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing activities for store stock and supplies
- Source products from approved suppliers at competitive prices
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and supplier terms
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Analyse sales trends to forecast purchasing needs
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and wholesalers
- Control purchasing budgets and reduce unnecessary costs
- Ensure accurate purchase records, invoices, and documentation
