Shift patterns will consist of mornings 07:00-14:15 and/or evenings 16:00-22:00. You will be required to work alternate weekends.

  • Provide essential personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Manage medication administration and assist with meal preparation, adhering to dietary requirements.
  • Maintain a hygienic and safe living environment, offering professional companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, utilising appropriate equipment and following safety protocols.
  • Monitor and report changes in service users' health or wellbeing to the care coordinator.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members.
  • Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations and organisational policies.
  • Participate in mandatory training and professional development opportunities.
  • Work alternate weekends and operate across Wigan and surrounding areas as required.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach.

  • Basic healthcare knowledge and understanding of person-centred care.

  • Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle may be required.

  • Competitive pay of £13.25-£13.75 per hour, with double time on bank holidays.
  • Fully funded DBS and pre-employment checks.

  • All calls are a minimum of 1 hour, where we match you with clients for continuity.
