Job Description
What will you be doing?
Every client is different, so no two days are exactly the same. Your role may include:
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Helping clients with everyday activities
- Supporting with light household tasks
- Helping clients maintain their independence
- Accompanying clients on outings or appointments
- Offering practical and emotional support
- Building genuine, trusting relationships with regular clients
Sometimes, the most important thing you’ll do is simply sit down, have a cup of tea and listen to someone’s stories.
Who are we looking for?
You don’t need qualifications or previous experience in care. What matters most is your personality and your desire to help others.
Qualifications
What you’ll need
- A full UK driving licence
- Access to a reliable car
- A genuine passion for supporting others
- Ability to work alternate weekends
Additional Information
What you’ll get
- £14.15 per hour
- Double pay on Bank Holidays
- Paid mileage between client visits
- Paid holidays
- Alternate weekends off
- Your own regular schedule with regular clients
- Minimum one-hour visits, giving you time to provide meaningful support
- No uniform – our clients want you to be yourself
- Full induction, training and ongoing mentoring
