At Home Instead Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Wem, we are recruiting Weekend Care Professionals to support clients in their own homes across our local area, with flexible weekend working options including every other weekend to support a healthy work–life balance.
Job Description
You will provide practical support and companionship, including:
- Companionship and emotional reassurance
- Personal care support and daily routines
- Medication prompts/support (where required)
- Mobility support and assistance with outings
- Meal preparation and light household tasks
Qualifications
No experience is required — full training is provided. You will complete a structured induction and ongoing learning, with the option to undertake accredited training in Dementia Care and End of Life Care. We also provide financial and educational support towards recognised Health & Social Care qualifications.

Paid travel and wait time as well as 35p per mile mileage.
