We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live In Care Professional to join our team in Shoreham, Kent. As a Live In Care Professional, you will provide essential support and companionship to an elderly client requiring general support within their home. You will be required to enhance their quality of life and help them maintain their independence.
- Live in the client's home, providing round-the-clock care and support
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Accompany clients to appointments, social events, and outings
- Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed
- Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and client's condition
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Organise and participate in stimulating activities tailored to the client's interests and abilities
- Assist with pet care when required
- Manage household tasks such as laundry, shopping, and running errands
£125.00-£135.00 daily rate
Additional £8.00 per day food allowance
Flexible rotas which can be negotiated
Full mileage paid when using car for client purposes
