Guaranteed minimum weekly hours + regular overtime if desired, Full training given, varied shifts across afternoons, evenings, and alternative weekends.

Home Instead Reading are currently recruiting compassionate and committed individuals to join our team in Reading and surrounding areas to work evening shifts 5pm-10pm and alternative weekends 5pm-10pm.

About the role:

As a Community CAREGiver, you will be supporting our clients to live more independently in their own homes. You will be assisting them with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication, domestic duties, and cooking in minimum hours visit.

Experience is not necessary, as we will provide you with full training, however we do require you to:

  • Have a genuine desire to help others
  • Be well-organised, adaptable, and practical
  • Be punctual and flexible
  • Have the confidence to work alone and as part of a team
  • Be self-motivated and be able to use own initiative
  • Able to work under pressure, sometimes in stressful and challenging situations
  • Be able to travel between client's homes (Full driving licence and your own vehicle is essential)
