Due to the rural nature of our communities and the need to support clients with outings, appointments and social activities, we are ideally seeking applicants with a full UK driving licence and who have access to a reliable vehicle insured for business use.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced, compassionate and proactive Live-In Carers to support clients living in some of the most picturesque parts of South Devon.

  • We proudly offer
  • £1050 per week (£150 a day) plus a daily food allowance

- significantly above standard live-in care rates . Plus

  • Two-weeks-on / two-weeks-off rota (flexibility available)
  • Ten-hour working days with a two-hour daily break

  • What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in live-in care
  • A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
  • Confidence working independently in a live-in environment
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Supporting with medication
  • Preparing nutritious meals
  • Completing general household duties
  • Supporting clients with outings and appointments
  • Recording daily activities and reporting changes in wellbeing using our care app
  • Maintaining regular communication with your line manager and office team
  • Recognising and escalating concerns appropriately to ensure client safety and wellbeing

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years' experience in live-in care is preferred
  • Experience supporting people living with dementia is highly desirable
  • Must have the
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Ideally hold a full
  • UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
  • Confident using a mobile app for care documentation and communication
  • An enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service would be advantageous
