Live-in Carer – £910–£980 per week – Westminster in London

Job DescriptionAs a Live-in Care Professional, you will provide dedicated one-to-one support to a client in their own home, helping them maintain their independence, routines and quality of life.This is much more than simply completing care tasks. You will become a trusted and reassuring presence in your client’s life, providing companionship as well as practical support.Depending on the individual client, your role may include:Providing companionship and building a genuine, trusted relationshipSupporting with personal care and daily routinesPreparing nutritious meals and assisting with household tasksSupporting medication in line with the client’s care planAccompanying clients to appointments, shops, cafés and social activitiesEncouraging walks, hobbies and continued involvement in the local communityPromoting independence wherever possibleMonitoring changes in wellbeing and communicating with our local office teamProviding reassurance and support to clients and their familiesMany of our clients live in some of London’s most interesting neighbourhoods, giving Care Professionals the opportunity to support them in enjoying local parks, cafés, galleries, cultural attractions and the wider Westminster community.QualificationsWe are looking for people who are naturally caring but who also understand the responsibility and professionalism required in a live-in care role.You will need:Previous professional care experience – essentialPrevious live-in care experience is highly desirableTo be currently living in the UK and able to work in LondonThe existing right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer sponsorshipA compassionate and respectful approachExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsReliability, patience and professionalismThe confidence to work independently while remaining well connected to our office teamA genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred careAdditional Information
