We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Derry/Londonderry as a Live In Care Professional. Working as a Live In Care Professional, you will live in a client’s home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help keep them independent in their own home.
You will live with them, supporting them to meet all their daily needs whilst ensuring their safety and promoting their dignity.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting with personal care needs

Prompting & administering medication

Meal & food preparation including cooking.

Safe moving and handling

Social outings, shopping trips and attending appointments.

Providing companionship

Light household duties such as cleaning & laundry

Encouraging independence where possible

Actively engage with clients in meaningful activities, conversations, and social interactions, promoting mental and emotional well-being.

Effective communication skills both written and verbal English., As a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with three meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.

Minimum 12 months experience in a paid Care setting. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. Pay Rates £800 – £900 per week., * Experience: Minimum of 12 months previous experience within a care setting.

Our Live-In Care Professionals typically live with a client for 7 days on 7 days off shift pattern which allows flexibility around your home life.
