Being a Live In Care Assistant means you need to be adaptable, personable but ultimately put others first. Your role may include:

Companionship

Personal care (washing, dressing, grooming and other toileting needs)

Helping with mobility around the home, such as cleaning, vacuuming and changing bedding.

Performing light housekeeping tasks

Overseeing medication and providing medical support

Preparing and cooking meals

Assist client to eat and drink

Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions

Help with continence care

Possibly to provide Dementia / Alzheimer care (depending on client)

Assist with morning/wake up and or evening/tuck in
Care Assistants need a Valid UK Driving Licence (with access to a vehicle for work purposes). Care Assistants must have the Right to work in the UK.
