Job Description

To ensure that our clients receive the appropriate support and a high-quality service.

The Role

  • Complete on-call duties on alternate weekends and provide holiday support as required.
  • Conduct client and Care Professional introductions.
  • Provide support to the Client Experience team.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Conduct client QA\’s.
  • Create, update, and audit client care plans and assist with digital care planning.
  • Maintain accurate client and Care Professional records on Home Instead software and People Planner.
  • Carry out client reviews and act on feedback accordingly.
  • Support and mentor Care Professionals.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and Care Professionals.
  • Be able to cover frontline care visits as part of the on-call role.
  • Ensure compliance with Home Instead\’s Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
  • Carry out any other duties necessary for the successful operation of the business.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in the care sector delivering a wide range of personal care services.
  • Experience working with MAR sheets (eMar) and medication in a supervisory role.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and helping clients live independently and happily in their own homes.
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations specific to Health and Social Care.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Confidence in using care management technology and providing support to Care Professionals.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and current legislation.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and virtual communication platforms, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Full driving license and means of transport if required within the territory to visit clients.
  • Organized and flexible to meet the needs of the business.
