Being a Care Professional is an essential role to support our clients to live well at home. With the assistance of our team and with industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead is known for.
Here's what you will be doing:
- Personal Care - supporting clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming.
- Home Help - Help with everyday tasks such as light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Companionship - Ensuring clients enjoy regular and meaningful social interaction both at home, out shopping and enjoying social activities. You will visit the same clients on a regular basis therefore building bonds of trust and joy.
You will be visiting clients in their home and must be able to travel between visits.
Schedule of work: Weekdays and every other weekend. You will need to be available some early mornings and late evenings.
Licence/Certification: Driving licence and access to your own transport. You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Qualifications: You don't need any specific qualifications to be a carer, other than the desire to care for others. We offer full training, varied shifts, good rates of pay and an incredibly rewarding career. This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
Additional Information: It is essential for this role that you are a driver with your own vehicle.
