We are looking for kind and compassionate people like you to join our Home Instead community. Whether you have direct experience in care personally or professionally or are just starting out we offer industry leading training to help you help others.
As a Home Care Assistant you will be visiting people in their own home to help them with all aspects of their daily routines and provide meaningful companionship at the same time.
Our Office is based in Worle Weston super Mare but we have Clients from Burnham on Sea to Clevedon and everything in between. This includes : Yatton Congresbury Cleeve Clevedon Mark Burnham‑on‑Sea Berrow Bleadon Lympsham Weston Worle Banwell and Winscombe. We try to keep you working locally to where you live to minimise time spent travelling around and maximising your time to care.
We provide care to our Clients from 8 in the morning until 9 : 30 at night but you wont be expected to work all of these hours. Just tell us when you are available and we will fill that time for you. We have split shifts mornings evenings and various hours in the day available you decide what you want to do! All we ask is that you have the same availability every other weekend as well.
- Great rates of pay – from 13.40 to 15.20 per hour plus paid mileage and travel time on top.

Qualifications
The right candidate for this role will need to be available some weekdays plus every other weekend. Set hours contracts available discussion at interview. Contract options will be based on your availability.
No previous care assistant experience is needed just your natural caring qualities. We will support you with full training shadow shifts and introductions to all your new clients.
Having a full UK drivers licence and your own car is essential due to some tasks that may be involved like shopping trips taking to appointments and travelling between client visits within a 15 minute window.
We provide free ongoing learning and development opportunities such as the Care Certificate Health and Social Care diplomas and an extensive range of distance learning courses.
Additional Information
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults and expects all staff to share this commitment. We require successful candidates to have an enhanced DBS check and provide a minimum of 4 references before they can start work as a Home Care Assistant. This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
