The predicted salary is between 11 - 12 £ per hour.
Our award winning companionship based services help our clients to live well in the homes they love, to stay connected with the communities in which they live, and to give reassurance and respite to their families. With an emphasis on companionship, our visits are for a couple of hours or longer so you can form great relationships and really engage your clients in meaningful activities.
We are looking for kind, caring and compassionate people who want to make a true difference to the quality of life of our clients to join our team in the West of Edinburgh as Care Professional. We are looking for people with the personality and passion to build great relationships with our clients. Our companionship-based care and support allows our aging clients to live well in the homes they love and remain connected with the communities they live in by getting out and about with our help. A minimum of 2-hour visits per client where we help with companionship, home help, shopping etc. For some we help with medication, other activities of daily living and memory care.
Qualifications:
- You do not need any experience or qualifications to become a Care Professional.
- Full training and support will be given to successful candidates.
- You do need to have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.
- You will be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful.
- You will enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
Additional Information:
- Flexible part time work of 10 to 12 plus hours per week - no must do hours and work around your other commitments.
- Competitive rates of pay £11 to £12 plus holiday pay and additional payments towards pension, travel and waiting time.
