At Home Instead Shrewsbury, we\’re proud to support older people living in Oswestry, Baschurch, and nearby villages to stay independent and happy in the homes they love. Since 2013, we\’ve been part of the Shropshire community, providing care that is kind, respectful, and never rushed – with minimum one-hour visits that allow time for quality support and genuine companionship.
Job Description
Every visit is different, but you might be:
- Taking a client into Oswestry for a market day, a coffee, or a stroll around town
- Supporting someone in Baschurch with mobility, medication, or personal care
- Helping with meal preparation or light household tasks
- Or simply providing companionship, laughter, and a listening ear
Qualifications
- Caring, reliable people who want to make a difference
- No formal qualifications are required – just kindness and empathy
- A full UK driving licence is desirable to support clients across Oswestry, Baschurch, and surrounding villages
- Flexibility to work across weekdays, evenings, and some weekends
- We\’ll give you all the training you need and can support you to progress through health & social care qualifications if you\’d like to grow further.
