Home Instead Down & Lisburn covers, Greater Belfast, North and Mid Down, Newcastle and Lisburn areas. We are currently looking for Care Professionals who are passionate about care and want to make a difference to the lives of our older people. The ‘Home Instead Way’ includes personalised one-to- one care, visits at a minimum of an hour and an optimistic outlook on age. Our Care Professionals go above and beyond every day to make a positive difference to somebody’s life., Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting older people to live well at home. With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.
Here’s what you could be doing:

Companionship – ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit

Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework

Accompanying to appointments or shopping

Personal care – supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
Essential:
A passion for caring and a desire to make a difference, helping people live their best life.
Hold a current UK full driving licence and have access to use of a car

We are looking for kind and compassionate people like you to join our Home Instead family. Whether you have direct experience in care, personally or professionally, or are just starting out – we offer industry leading training to all our carers to help you help others.
This role requires applicants to be available to work evenings Monday to Friday and every second weekend.
This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process
