Job Description

At Home Instead Leek & Moorlands we know how important it is for people in our local community to live where they feel most comfortable – at home. We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to help us support others to stay independent in their own home in Bakewell, Derbyshire.

We match our Care Professionals and clients together so memorable connections can be established. All initial calls with a client who is new to you will be introductions with the support of another colleague, so you can really get to know your client and their needs.

Please note to be eligible to apply for this vacancy, you must live within 10 miles of Bakewell.

  • Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:

  • Support with personal care tasks such as toileting and showering.
  • Perform household tasks such as light cleaning and tidying.
  • Respond to your clients needs.
  • Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort.
  • Write accurate daily notes, keeping up strong communication with the office.
  • Administer medication and record appropriately.
  • Requirements:

  • For this vacancy, previous care experience is required due to the clients\’ needs.
  • You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide an excellent service to our clients.
  • You must live in or near to Bakewell.
  • Must have a caring, friendly personality.
  • Willing to travel to our office in Leek for training and meetings.
  • Unfortunately, we do not have a licence to offer sponsorship.
