Are you the dependable friend that everyone turns to? The one who listens, offers a, and knows just what to say? That\’s more than just being a good friend—that\’s having the heart of a Care Professional.
At Home Instead, we value people like you because you have a rare set of skills: genuine kindness, empathy and oodles of patience. If you\’ve ever thought your natural talents are going unnoticed, think again. You\’re exactly the kind of person who can make a difference.
So, what\’s the job really about?
Would you like to work mornings only? Are you available from 8am – 12pm?
Well, imagine popping by to help Mrs. Smith start her day. One moment you\’re assisting her out of bed and helping her choose an outfit, and the next, you\’re sharing a cuppa and a natter as she enjoys her breakfast. Later, you might be off to Mr. Jones\’ to make sure he\’s got his medication sorted and a hot meal on the table. Maybe a quick tidy-up, or a trip to the shops is on the cards as well.
But here\’s the special bit. You\’re not just a helper; you\’re a lifeline, a listener, and often, a good laugh! Our visits are never less than an hour, allowing plenty of time to provide quality care without feeling rushed. You ensure all of your clients are comfortable and safe to enable them to stay independent in their own homes.
We are rated OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission and 9.9/10 by all our lovely clients on homecare.co.uk, where we have over 60 reviews!
Interested in training? Home Instead is a step above the rest. Our Registered Nurse, provides many hours of in house training to our team each year. This is not just about ticking boxes; it\’s about elevating your skills and boosting your confidence to enable you to provide Outstanding care. We call it your Career Pathway, designed not only to help you earn professional qualifications but also to ensure you\’re supported at every stage.
And we’re a team that likes to have fun, too. We celebrate each other’s achievements and build friendships over regular fun activities – coffee mornings, parties, group outings, and yes, even a team choir!
