Due to an increasing demand for care in Cowbridge & Surrounding Areas we are looking for hardworking, kind and compassionate new care assistants to join our team!
This is a part time position, but you can choose between a variety of contracts that suit your availability.
As a care assistant with Home Instead, you will be visiting people in their own home for a minimum hour at a time to help them with all elements of their daily routines and provide meaningful companionship at the same time. This may also involve providing assistance with personal care.
We offer:
- Pay rate of £12.00-£13.00 per hour, earn up to £24.00 per hour on Bank Holidays.
- Paid travel time plus paid mileage between clients.
- A range of guaranteed hours contracts available e.g.: 16, 30 hours p/week. Or zero-hours to suit your availability.
- Paid holiday, even on a zero-hour contract.
- Paid on the job training and shadowing.
- Regular working pattern with the same Clients.
- 24/7 on call support and a friendly and supportive office team.
- Regular team meetings, training updates and support visits.
- Free qualifications such as QCF diplomas and CPD certificates in a variety of topics PLUS fully funded City & Guilds qualification in Dementia.

Candidates will need a valid, full Driving Licence with access to a vehicle due to rural nature of our client base and the number of clients that include going out as part of their service.
