Home Instead Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster covers the main towns of Hutton, Shenfield as well as surrounding villages of Blackmore and Ingatestone. We believe in caring for our clients to the highest standard, by encouraging Care Professionals to reach their highest potential and ensuring we make a real difference to clients' lives every day. Our team provides professional, compassionate care at home in the Essex area. Our care has been recognised as Outstanding by the CQC.

You must live within the areas of Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster to be considered for this role.

Job Description

Care Assistant Benefits:

  • Excellent pay rates - £13.80 Per hour weekdays/£14.90 Per hour weekends-plus double pay for enhanced bank holiday rates.
  • Types of hours available - Part time& guaranteed hours
  • Minimum 1 hour calls – so you have the time needed with client
  • Welcome bonus - £100 payment will be paid once all initial training is completed
  • Employee referral bonus programme - £200 bonus paid if you refer and friend or family member and they start
  • Mileage Paid- 45p per mile

Care Assistant responsibilities:

Being a Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
  • Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

Qualifications

No qualifications are required, we are looking for naturally caring qualities and those who want to make a difference to peoples lives!
