What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a confident and compassionate leader with experience in care and team supervision. You should be highly organised, a great communicator, and passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care. A strong understanding of care regulations, digital care systems, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. You’ll lead by example and inspire others to provide the best possible support to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of care professionals with a focus on person-centred support.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise Care Professionals, including appraisals and training support.
- Conduct client introductions with care professionals.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Support recruitment, succession planning, and team development.
- Handle incidents, complaints, and contribute to service improvements.
- Participate in on-call duties and disciplinary processes as needed.
- Promote a positive team culture aligned with Home Instead values.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure high-quality care delivery.
What You’ll Need:
You’re a natural leader with a genuine passion for care. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are confident in making decisions, and have a strong eye for detail. You’re approachable, supportive, and able to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues. A proactive mindset and commitment to high standards will help you make a real difference daily. Full training will be provided, but the following skills are desirable:
- Extensive care experience with a focus on high-quality, person-centred service.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and support care teams effectively.
- Holds or is working towards SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Organised, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Tech-savvy with experience using Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and care systems.
- Commercially aware with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Passionate about developing others and achieving high standards of care.
- Willing to support on-call duties and respond to field-based needs.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle required for community visits.
