Home Instead East Suffolk covers Framlingham, Saxmundham, Halesworth, Southwold, Aldeburgh and the surrounding villages. We are a family run care provider who truly puts our team and clients before anything else. We’re looking for Home Care assistants who are available for various visits, and have access to reliable transportation.

Care Assistant Benefits

  • Excellent pay rates - £13.50 per hour weekdays, £14.00 per hour weekends, plus £20.25 enhanced bank holiday rates
  • Types of hours available: From 10 hours part time or Full-time/Guaranteed contract
  • Minimum 1 hour calls – so you have the time needed with client
  • Mileage and travel time - paid separately

Care Assistant Responsibilities

Being a Home help assistant is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care. Duties can include:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
  • Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
