Job Description

A Care Assistant with Home Instead is someone who has a kind and compassionate heart, and wants to make a true difference to the quality of life for others. Our Care Assistants provide support that is completely personalised to the individual based on a close bond being formed through shared experiences and interests. At Home Instead, we believe support should go beyond just providing high quality care. Each visit is a minimum of 1 hourin duration, enabling a person centred, companionship led approach.

The role ofa Care Assistant isbased around the following:

  • Providing personal care
  • Being a friendly companion to our clients
  • Supporting mobility
  • Prompting medication
  • Assisting with daily living
  • Home help tasks
  • Preparing meals and monitoringclients diets
  • Assisting to appointments
  • Ensuring that clients can remain independent in their own homes

As a Care Assistant with Home Instead Aylesbury Vale and North East Oxfordshire you will benefit from guaranteed contracted hours, built around your availability. Continuity of care is important to us.Your schedulereflects this,flexibly tailored to your availability, you will have the opportunity to visit a regular group of familiar clients.

Qualifications

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assistant, just a passion for making a positive difference to others.

It is beneficial to hold a valid driver’s license and have access to your own vehicle.
