Your Role as a Live‑In Care Professional
You’ll live in your client’s home, providing tailored support to help them stay safe, comfortable and independent. Duties may include:
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Supporting with personal care
- Medication administration or prompting
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Shopping and preparing nutritious meals
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social activities
- Supporting hobbies, interests and community engagement
- Providing specialist care (e.g. Dementia, Parkinson’s, Stroke)
Typical 1 week on, 1 week off rotation

Qualifications
- Excellent Spoken English Required
- Drivers preferred (but not essential) – many clients require transport to appointments
- Must be able to work in and around Norwich
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS and be registered on the DBS Update Service
- Previous care experience needed – compassion and reliability are key
- Patience, compassion and professionalism
- An understanding of confidentiality and boundaries
- A friendly, reliable, common‑sense approach
