We are looking for a kind, reliable, and compassionate live-in carer to support a lovely lady living with dementia. She is calm, gentle, and sociable, and would benefit from a carer who enjoys offering companionship alongside practical care.
About her:
- Calm, gentle, and friendly personality
- Sociable and enjoys good company
- Loves spending time in her garden
Role responsibilities:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care and daily routines
- Supporting and managing stoma care, including changing the stoma bag
- Changing her prescribed medication patch as required
- Helping with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home
- Completing food shopping and essential errands
- Encouraging time outdoors — she enjoys sitting in her garden and gardening during the summer months
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
- Be patient, respectful, and dependable
- Have experience in care
- Be comfortable supporting stoma care (training provided)
Pay & requirements:
- £125 per day
- 2 days of mandatory training before starting
- Enhanced DBS check required
