Training & Development:
All new Care Assistants complete 2 days of training to prepare for their role, followed by ongoing support and development. You’ll also receive specialist training, including dementia care, to help you grow and deliver the highest quality care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in live-in care
- Experience with personal care, medication support, and companionship
- Ability to provide home help support (meals, light housekeeping)
- Experience supporting clients with various health conditions, including dementia and Alzheimer’s
- Confident using care equipment such as hoists and other mobility aids
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Personal Care & Daily Tasks: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, medication reminders, and mobility
- Comfort & Well-being: Deliver care respectfully, maintain privacy, monitor health, and enhance clients’ quality of life
- Companionship & Emotional Support: Provide friendly interaction, engage in activities, and reduce loneliness
- Promoting Independence: Encourage clients to do tasks they can manage, support safe mobility, and foster self-confidence at home
Qualifications:
- Compassion & Empathy: A warm, approachable personality with the ability to connect meaningfully with older people
- Professionalism: Dedicated and responsible, with a genuine passion for delivering the highest quality of care
- Communication Skills: Positive outlook and ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English
- Eligibility: Right to work in the UK
- Mobility: Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle, as travel between client visits is preferred
