Job Description
THIS ROLE IS UK BASED AND THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK WILL NEED TO BE ESTABLISHED AS PART OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS. We are not sponsoring VISA applications at this time.
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life of our clients inLondon Borough of Waltham Forest.Every one of our clientsis unique and special, the joy and comfort our clientsreceive from one of ourCare Professionalsvisiting them makes this an incredibly rewarding job.
Duties include:
- Reflect the core values of Home Instead
- Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client’s quality of life.
- Document daily activities and report any significant changes in a client’s needs or living conditions.
- Maintain regular communication with line manager and office staff.
- Companionship- ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
- Home help- help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments, local activities,or shopping
- Personal care- supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
Qualifications
- Willingness to travel to clientshomes
- You will be required to undergo a full DBS check
- You do not need any care qualifications or formal experience to become aCare Professionalas we will provide you with our award-winning training. We haveCare Professionalsworking for us who have been stay at home mums, semi-retired school teachers and or retired but would like part time work.
- If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, Health Care Assistant or caring for a loved one, we would love to hear from you.
