Home Instead Oxford are a well-established home care provider, supporting older people to remain healthy & well within their own homes. We support clients living across Oxford, Kidlington, Witney & Carterton areas as well as the surrounding villages.
Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can make a real difference in your local community? We are seeking compassionate and bubbly Care Assistants to support our clients to remain safe, happy & healthy in their own homes across the Oxford & Witney areas.
About the Role:
As a Care Assistant with Home Instead, you’ll visit clients in their homes to help them maintain their independence and dignity. We support clients starting at 8am and finish at 9:45pm, but can work with the hours and days that you are looking for.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Assisting with personal care routines
- Supporting with medication
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Light household tasks
- Supporting with mobility and encouraging independence

- £13.15 per hour during the week and £13.95 per hour on a weekend with double pay on a bank holiday

What We Need from you:
- A caring, patient and respectful nature with a genuine desire to provide outstanding care and support to our clients
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel across Oxford and nearby areas
- Must be reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Availability to work an alternate weekend
- Previous experience is welcome but not essential – we provide full training
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desired
