Home Instead Norfolk are expanding their team and looking for caring, compassionate Elderly Befriender Care Assistants to support clients living at home with a range of needs throughout Norfolk and Cambridge and in your local area. We currently have care vacancies available with immediate starts.
Pay: £15 per hour (£16.81 earned wage including holiday pay) with working availability during the week and alternate weekends.

With clients needing a mixture of morning, afternoon and evening support. We currently need Elderly Befrienders with availability to support our clients between 7am and 10pm; the more availability you have, the more client visits we are able to allocate to you. We accept availability of 7am – 2pm, 7am – 6pm, 9am – 10pm, 2pm – 10pm, 6pm – 10pm, and 7am – 10pm (preferred). All our Elderly Befrienders work alternate weekends to ensure continuity of care to our clients and typically work between 10 – 35 hours per week depending on your requirements.
We’re looking for candidates who may already have experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Elderly Befriender or in Domiciliary Care. We would also love to hear from anyone who has experience caring for loved ones or been a volunteer. We would encourage you to apply as an Elderly Befriender Care Assistant with Home Instead as full training and support will be given.
