We are excited to be hiring staff to join our Home Instead Live-In Care Team to support a female client near the lovely town of Market Harborough.
As a Live-In Care Professional, you’ll provide much-needed support with day to day living. Your duties may include a combination of any of the below as all our clients are different:
- Companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting needs)
- Assisting with mobility and helping with light housekeeping tasks
- Overseeing medication and providing medical support
- Preparing and cooking meals, and assisting with eating and drinking
- Running errands (e.g., shopping, picking up prescriptions)
About You: You need to be adaptable, happy to work independently or within a small team. With strong communication skills and good spoken English you should also be:
- Able to work on a two-week on/off schedule (longer if this is what you prefer)
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Although a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work is an advantage, it is not essential.
Qualifications: Our ideal caregiver will have some Live In care experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or as a volunteer. With a passion for supporting others and pride on delivering an outstanding service.
