We are excited to be hiring staff to join our Home Instead Live-In Care Team to support a female client near the lovely town of Market Harborough.

Ideal caregiver:

Our ideal caregiver will have some Live In care experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or as a volunteer. With a passion for supporting others and pride in delivering an outstanding service. A Home Instead care professional will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful and enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

Schedule:

We are recruiting for Live‑In Care Professionals to work on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule, though extra work to support our clients is also a possibility. Immediate starts are available. One of our clients requires a driver (car available) and she has a little dog so you must be happy to take the dog for walks too.

Your Role:

As a Live‑In Care Professional, you’ll provide much-needed support with day to day living.

Duties:

  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting needs)
  • Assisting with mobility and helping with light housekeeping tasks
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support
  • Preparing and cooking meals, and assisting with eating and drinking
  • Running errands (e.g., shopping, picking up prescriptions)

About You:

You need to be adaptable, happy to work independently or within a small team. With strong communication skills and good spoken English you should also be:

  • Able to work on a two‑week on/off schedule (longer if this is what you prefer)
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Although a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work is an advantage, it is not essential.
