The Head of People Experience is a full-time position, leading and supporting a team to ensure timely recruitment of high-quality care professionals with focused and effective strategies for engagement and retention. Aspects of the job involve leading in all aspects of recruitment activity, training, and retention.
Essential Criteria - What We're Looking For- You will thrive in this role if you are highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Enjoy working in a busy, fast-paced team environment.
- Have a degree or equivalent qualification or experience in Management.
- Proven experience within a generalist HR role including:
- Delivering training (a qualification is beneficial).
- End to end recruitment.
- Retention and engagement methods.
- Good basic understanding of employment law and HR processes and procedures.
- Be confident, resilient and self-motivated with the ability to build and maintain strong positive external community relationships to promote the opportunities available at Home Instead.
- Flexibility to work outside 9-5 Monday to Friday if required to meet the demands of the business.
- Strong interpersonal skills, and excellent presentation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of IT Systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite, working with HR systems and virtual communication platforms with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies where appropriate.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Line management experience. Ability to communicate and motivate others, helping them to achieve their potential.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This role is based in Market Harborough, but we have two other offices in Oadby.
