About This Role

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Client Services Manager / Deputy Care Manager to join our lovely team at Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst and Orpington; we are an award winning relationship-driven Home Care provider, rated CQC 'outstanding' and based in beautiful offices in Coney Hall, West Wickham.

The Senior Client Services Manager (role potentially to develop to Deputy Care Manager) will report directly to the Registered Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that the best possible care is provided to the clients of Home Instead Senior Care Bromley, Chislehurst & Orpington and that policies and procedures are adhered to.

You must come from a Home Care background and utilise your previous experience to encourage and motivate our team of Junior Client Service Managers and Care Professionals to deliver the best possible care to our clients while developing their knowledge and skills throughout their employment.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of CQC
  • HR skills, disciplinary hearings, addressing day‑to‑day concerns and investigations
  • Safeguarding
  • Care planning and conducting risk assessments ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Managing Trainee Client Services Manager and Care Professional personal development
  • Care delivery and on‑call rota management
  • Ensuring client satisfaction
  • Managing a team to deliver exceptional service and manage workloads accordingly

Qualifications

  1. Have extensive care experience with excellent customer service and man‑management skills.
  2. Be commercially aware.
  3. Have strong influencing skills.
  4. Be able to demonstrate achievement of business growth targets.
  5. Have the ability to build good working relationships.
  6. Have strong organisational and planning skills.
  7. Be able to work well and accurately under pressure.
  8. Be flexible to meet the demands of the business including participating in an on‑call rota.

Pay, Benefits & Work Hours

Pay: £28,000.00 - £32,000.00 per year.

Benefits: Company pension, 20 days holiday, employee discount, free flu jabs, free parking, referral programme.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9‑5pm, alternate weekends on‑call rota.

Areas covered: Bromley, Orpington, Petts Wood, Chislehurst, West Wickham, Beckenham.

Require a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle with mileage covered between client visits.
