  • About This Role

Fantastic opportunity for an HR Officer to join our lovely team at Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst and Orpington; we are an award-winning relationship-driven Home Care provider, rated CQC 'outstanding' and based in beautifulofficesin Coney Hall, West Wickham.

It may be beneficial for the HR Officer to have some knowledge of the Care Sector (but applicants from alternative sectors will absolutely be considered).

The HR Officer will have a genuine interest in supporting and developing people and willingness to keep up to date with HR legislation/processes.

The role will be varied and interesting and will include

  • Return to Work
  • Exit interviews
  • Retention strategy – design and implementation
  • Keeping up to date with changing HR legislation
  • Collecting and monitoring data
  • HR related meetings (from informal to disciplinaries)
  • Support with team meetings and other staff activity
  • Delivering some training (as required)
  • Some training administration
  • External training management
  • Supervisions
  • Spot checks (willingness to be in the field)
  • Competencies (willingness to be in the field)

The HR officer will have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure.

They will be a team player who is self-motivated, results driven and resilient and someone who pays excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.

The HR officer will be full time, office based, enjoying a salary of £28k to £32k with 20 days holiday, pension and blue light card.

It is not essential to hold formal HR qualifications, just a genuine interest in supporting and developing people and willingness to learn necessary HR legislation/processes.
