Our leadership team already includes Registered Nurses, and we are now seeking a proven Care Manager to play a key role in leading care quality, compliance, and service delivery.

If you are an experienced Care Manager, Registered Care Manager, or a clinically trained professional (such as a Registered Nurse) looking to move into a role with real autonomy and influence, this is a rare opportunity.

Role Overview

As Care Manager / Clinical Care Manager, you will provide operational and clinical oversight across the service, ensuring care is safe, person-centred, compliant, and consistently delivered to a high standard.

You will work closely with senior leadership to:

  • Maintain Outstanding-level CQC standards
  • Provide clinical guidance and leadership to Care Professionals
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance
  • Support service growth while protecting care quality and culture

This role suits someone who enjoys leading people, setting standards, and using clinical judgement, rather than constant firefighting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of a high-quality domiciliary care service
  • Provide clinical and care leadership across the service
  • Oversee and quality-assure care plans, risk assessments, and reviews
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance
  • Conduct audits, assurance visits, and quality checks
  • Act as escalation point for complex care, incidents, and complaints
  • Liaise with external healthcare professionals (GPs, district nurses, therapists)
  • Support recruitment, supervision, and development of Care Professionals
  • Contribute to CQC readiness and inspection processes
Clinical & Registration Focus

We are particularly interested in candidates who have one or more of the following:

  • A clinical background, such as Registered Nurse (NMC-registered)
  • Experience in clinical oversight, complex care, or quality assurance
  • Proven experience as a Care Manager or Registered Care Manager
  • Willingness to undertake or support Registered Care Manager / joint registration
  • Support and development towards registration can be discussed for the right candidate.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a Care Manager, Clinical Care Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
  • Confidence in care planning, audits, and quality monitoring
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (desirable or willingness to work towards)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
What You’ll Get

£45,000–£50,000 salary, depending on experience. A senior leadership role within a CQC Outstanding-rated service. Opportunity to work alongside clinically qualified leaders. Real autonomy and influence over care quality and service development. A stable, well-supported service with a strong local reputation.

If you are a Care Manager or clinically trained professional who wants to combine care leadership with clinical insight, we would love to hear from you. Apply today with your CV. Suitable candidates will be contacted promptly.
