This is a senior Care Manager role with a strong clinical and quality focus. Our leadership team already includes Registered Nurses, and we are now seeking a proven Care Manager to play a key role in leading care quality, compliance, and service delivery.

Role OverviewAs Care Manager / Clinical Care Manager, you will provide operational and clinical oversight across the service, ensuring care is safe, person-centred, compliant, and consistently delivered to a high standard. You will work closely with senior leadership to:
- Maintain Outstanding-level CQC standards
- Provide clinical guidance and leadership to Care Professionals
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance
- Support service growth while protecting care quality and culture
This role suits someone who enjoys leading people, setting standards, and using clinical judgement, rather than constant firefighting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day delivery of a high-quality domiciliary care service
- Provide clinical and care leadership across the service
- Oversee and quality-assure care plans, risk assessments, and reviews
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance
- Conduct audits, assurance visits, and quality checks
- Act as escalation point for complex care, incidents, and complaints
- Liaise with external healthcare professionals (GPs, district nurses, therapists)
- Support recruitment, supervision, and development of Care Professionals
- Contribute to CQC readiness and inspection processes
We are particularly interested in candidates who have one or more of the following:
- A clinical background, such as Registered Nurse (NMC-registered)
- Experience in clinical oversight, complex care, or quality assurance
- Proven experience as a Care Manager or Registered Care Manager
- Willingness to undertake or support Registered Care Manager / joint registration
Support and development towards registration can be discussed for the right candidate.
What We’re Looking For- Proven experience in a Care Manager, Clinical Care Manager, or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance
- Confidence in care planning, audits, and quality monitoring
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (desirable or willingness to work towards)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
£45,000–£50,000 salary, depending on experience. A senior leadership role within a CQC Outstanding-rated service. Opportunity to work alongside clinically qualified leaders.
