Home Instead is currently seeking a MALE Support Worker in Burton Latimer. You will be required to provide support to help the client remain as independent as possible in their own home and out in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Helping with everyday activities. The Client enjoys getting out & about throughout the day.
  • Assisting with life skills such as cooking and domestic duties.
  • Providing support in the community and helping to access activities they enjoy.
  • Ensuring they are safe within their home and the wider community.
  • Being someone they can rely on and a good companion.

This is an exciting opportunity and includes the chance to develop and gain new skills and knowledge. The client enjoys being outdoors and gardening, so the love of the outdoors would be an advantage.

Ideal Support Worker Required:

  • Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Willing to operate clients vehicle.
  • Committed.

  • Team Player.

Qualifications

To have experience of challenging behaviour is preferred and a willingness to learn how to manage this client's needs is a must. However, no specific care experience is required as we offer full training on orientation.

  • Sunday - 22.00 - 08.00
  • Monday - 22.00 - 08.00
  • Tuesday - 22.00 - 08.00
  • Wednesday - 22.00 - 08.00
  • Thursday - 22.00 - 08.00
