- Known for a warm & genuine approach to customers
This growing independent business is looking for new shop managers as it expands. They are known for their incredible standards, using thoughtfully sourced beans delivered at scale. Hospitality is a priority, with ordering a coffee being a key moment to connect rather than just a process. They love to build community through their sites, even those with high footfall.
The shops can be busy, so they have specialist equipment to help deliver quality and consistency at high volume. You’ll be experienced with coffee making, but not necessarily a star barista; excellent training is available. The number one requirement is a passion for coffee and a keenness to learn. The skillset differs from restaurant management roles, so while training is provided, the ideal candidate has likely spent time working the line in a busy coffee shop.
You’ll be responsible for the overall management of the site, and once you are given your store to manage, you’ll be eligible for a bonus related to your store’s performance, which is uncapped. This is a daytime only role, predominantly Monday‑Friday. The shops open from 6 am and you’ll usually close by 6 pm; shifts are staggered so a full day of service isn’t the norm, and you’ll usually work around 40 hours per week.
