The most exciting restaurant in the city is opening its new baby sister, looking for a chef to oversee both locations. Sundays off, a chance to work with an iconic chef. This role is for an executive level position overseeing two sites, with opportunities for development and a competitive salary.
Responsibilities:
- Executive chef for 2 sites with responsibility for development and menu refinement.
- Collaborate on developing a more refined menu and a more fun, informal menu suitable for a versatile chef.
- Split services between the two sites and manage 6 shifts total.
- Work on menu development for both sites and have 1 admin day per week to support that work.
Qualifications:
- Fairly senior head chef who can manage time well, learn and cook exciting new food, and possibly learn a new cuisine.
- Demonstrates a lack of ego and a warm, kind, collaborative approach.
- Experience with high-volume service and multi-site management is preferred.
Additional Details:
You would split your 6 shifts over the two restaurants, work on menu development for both, and have 1 admin day a week to do so. The second site is expected to be a popular and exciting new restaurant in a central location. The beloved restaurant is set to open their new baby sister later this Spring, with cooking over fire, whole animal butchery, nose-to-tail, offal, skewers, and other elements at the new casual site. The OG remains a top, 1-star restaurant in our city.
