HOME HELP ME CARE LIMITED is seeking Care Assistants to provide care at clients' homes in Blackhall (Edinburgh EH4), traveling from client to client. The position offers:

  • From £13.45 per hour
  • Weekend Shifts available from 8am - 10pm
  • Evening Shifts from 4pm - 10pm
  • Permanent role with flexible hours to support retired/semi-retired healthcare professionals

Responsibilities of a Care Assistant include:

  • Providing direct care and support to individuals in their homes
  • Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, dressing, medication prompts, meal preparation, and companionship
  • Driving clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
  • Preparing meals and assisting with meal planning
  • Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications:

  • Ability to drive and has/access to a car with a valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions

This role would be suitable for candidates with experience as a Carer, Health Care Assistant, Companion, Retired Nurse, Support Worker, or Personal Care Assistant. Experience as a Care Assistant is desirable but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided to the right candidate.
