This is a great opportunity to join our team. As our Housing Lead, you'll focus on tenancy support for our customers who are experiencing mental health issues and homelessness, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you'll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to secure, long-term accommodation!
What you'll do:
- Making sure that our customers' rooms are homes they can be proud of, you'll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
- Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.
- Where there is a need, you'll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court.
- Getting rooms ready for the next customers who need our help and for maximum occupancy, you'll turn around vacant or void rooms/bed spaces/properties within set timescales.
- Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.
