As a Community Housing Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting Housing Managers to deliver excellent housing management services across our communities.
You'll provide a proactive, customer-focused service, helping customers sustain their tenancies, resolve issues early, and navigate housing-related processes.
What youll do
Support customers to sustain their tenancies through regular contact, practical assistance, and signposting, while monitoring progress and escalating concerns to Housing Managers.
Deliver neighbourhood and community management services by investigating low-level anti-social behaviour, maintaining records, providing advice, and monitoring cases for escalation.
Manage voids and lettings administration, maintaining trackers and keeping systems up to date.
Coordinate mutual exchanges, completing tenancy checks, supporting home visits, and liaising with customers, colleagues, and partners throughout the process.
Support compliance and performance activities by arranging customer appointments, maintaining accurate records, and escalating safeguarding, vulnerability, and compliance concerns where needed.
