Job Description:

Painter and Decorator working in our properties across the North East. This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on call on a rota basis). Salary: £33,433 per annum plus van, on call allowance, and benefits including Health Cash Plan.

Typical day as a Painter and Decorator:

  • Complete all allocated jobs right first time, providing excellent service.
  • Decorate across repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments.
  • Deliver high-quality, compliant work.
  • Utilize multi-skilling to improve first-time fixes and reduce visits.
  • Work across properties in the North East, with scheduled jobs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in painting and decorating or equivalent.
  • Experience in all aspects of painting and decorating within maintenance.
  • Experience in other building trades (multi-skilled).
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to use initiative.
  • Full driving license; company van provided.
