Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday.

Earn ÂŁ33,433 per annum plus van, generous on call allowance and great benefits.

Typical day as a Painter and Decorator

As a multi skilled Painter and Decorator, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers. Decorating works across repairs, maintenance and property refurbishments. Delivering high-quality and compliant work. Multi skilling to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes. Working in our properties across the Northwest. All jobs are scheduled so you know exactly where you need to be. You’ll go home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers' lives for the better working for one of the top ten Great Places to Work in the UK!

You have City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in painting and decorating or equivalent qualification. Experience in all aspects of painting and decorating work within a maintenance environment. Experience in other building trade areas (multi skilled). A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement. A full current driving license as you’ll be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.

Job details

Working Monday to Friday, you may be required to take part in our out of hours service on a rota with colleagues, for which you will receive an additional generous on call payment. You’ll work across our properties in the Northwest. Our office base is Maryport. Confident using technology to access scheduled jobs. You have a full current driving license, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting. You’ll need a Basic DBS and Health Check done which we pay for.
