The predicted salary is between 22000 - 26334 £ per year.

Based at our regional office in Belmont, Durham, with set days out in the community and to attend college.

Pay: £21,216 (under 20) – £24,853 (21 and over)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

24-month fixed term apprenticeship, with the potential for a permanent role at the end.

We have two roles available and as part of our commitment to creating real opportunities, one of these roles will be reserved for a Home Group customer. This could be a person who currently uses our services, has used them before, or is supported through our care or housing services.

About the role

You’ll be a valued member of the team, learning by doing and supporting colleagues with meaningful, hands-on work. You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities while being fully supported as you develop your skills and confidence.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Prepare surfaces and apply plaster to walls and ceilings in customers’ homes
  • Carry out both solid and fibrous plastering tasks
  • Work safely on site, following health and safety guidance
  • Use tools, equipment and materials correctly and responsibly
  • Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, showing care, respect and good timekeeping
  • Record work accurately and conduct quality checks as part of your apprenticeship

What qualification will you gain?

Level 2 Plastering apprenticeship, delivered by Newcastle College. You’ll combine on-the-job learning with structured study, building skills and confidence that will support your long-term career.

Who we’re looking for

  • Achieved GCSEs in English and Mathematics grades 9-3 (A*-D)
  • Are IT confident, or at least have a basic understanding
  • Are keen to learn and develop new skills for example, communication both verbal and written
  • Share our values, want to make a difference, and thrive in a team environment
  • Are organised, curious and willing to ask questions
