Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing for a range of categories or services, ensuring value and compliance
- Develop strategies that drive value and reduce risk
- Guide stakeholders through tenders and contract decisions
- Use data and insight to improve supplier outcomes and reduce risk
- Help shape a best‑in‑class procurement service
Qualifications and experience:
- Led sourcing and tendering for a range of categories or services
- Strong commercial skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Experience managing supplier performance and contracts
- Knowledge of procurement law or equivalent experience
- Confidence using data to drive decisions and improve outcomes
We work core hours between the hours of 08:00 to 18:00 with flexibility built in. We work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Newcastle upon Tyne office, with the rest from home. Our anchor day is Monday, and you pick your preferred second day.
